Meet Emmah
Director
I am obsessively thankful and I love the sight of growth! That’s why coaching is such a joy in my life. What’s even more inspiring is when you watch people come alive as the light bulbs come on, watch their faces and it’s obvious that they have just found within themselves another puzzle that could unlock their world altogether.
I have more than 20 years of working experience with government, the UN, civil society, church, and parachurch organisations. I have seen and experienced both growth and failure. I have had to overcome challenging leadership obstacles in my own life. I have had the opportunities to grow from an intern position to leading organizations, but there are times when I chose to come down the ladder instead of climbing it, or even entirely let go of the ladder. I highly treasure the gift of choice and value the ability to make decisions.
The richness of my life is not just based on the diverse socio economic and cultural backgrounds and the different portfolios in which I have held and navigated through nationally and internationally. It is first and foremost based in my faith in Jesus Christ. Not only am I His follower, He is also my utmost pure delight.
Yes, I am a trained and accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation, it’s my passion. I love to see people thrive, I love to see people wake up with the hope that today can be better than yesterday and that the future is filled with potential for greatness.
I am a wife to Christopher Makuthi, mother of three (‘Sugar’, ‘Spice’ and ‘all things nice’), currently residing in the beautiful western part of Sydney!
